A: At this time, Chino's Rock & Tacos does not offer financing assistance. Financing options may be pursued through third parties.
Q: What is the average square footage of a Chino's Rock & Tacos restaurant?
A: Franchised Chino's Rock & Tacos restaurants are currently required to be 1,250- 2,000 square feet.
Q: What is the term of the franchise agreement?
A: The initial term of your Chino's Rock & Tacos franchise agreement is ten years, with two subsequent successor options of five years each.
Q: What is the process of getting a franchise?
A: After meeting our requirements, the franchise process takes approximately 6-12 months from initial contact to store opening.
Q: What experience do I need?
Although previous restaurant ownership experience is helpful, it is not necessary to become part of the Chino's Rock & Tacos Family. We seek motivated entrepreneurs to help us grow throughout the United States.
Q: Will I have an exclusive territory?
Single Unit Agreements – You will not receive an exclusive territory. Your Area of Primary Responsibility will be determined based upon various factors such as (a) whether the Accepted Location is an urban area or a suburban area; (b) the number of residents living in the area; (c) the number of people working in the area; and (d) the number of competitive restaurants in the area; among other factors.
Area Development Agreements – The size and scope of the Development Area will be determined on a case-by-case basis, as we mutually agree upon prior to signing the Area Development Agreement and will be specified in the Agreement. The factors considered in determining the size of a Development Area include (a) current and projected market demand; (b) demographics and population; (b) traffic patterns; (c) location of other Chino's Rock & Tacos Restaurants; and (d) the number of units in the development plan.
Q: What about advertising?
A. Chino's Rock & Tacos name and reputation is an important part of our business. Chino's Rock & Tacos has many marketing tools and collateral easily accessible and available to run in your market to grow your customer base. You will spend a minimum of $10,000 to $20,000 on grand opening advertising. You will also spend at least 2% of your net sales per month on local advertising.
Q: How much training is provided?
A. The initial five week training program for you and your management team covers all material aspects of the operation of Chino's Rock & Tacos franchise and is comprised of classroom and on-the-job training. Additional training is performed for your team at your location before, during and after opening. Your Chino's Rock & Tacos Franchise Consultant will also review all training and proper execution techniques during ongoing periodic operational visits.
